Teacher Training
Premier Pilates & Yoga offers a 740-hour Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training Program on all Pilates
Apparatus. In addition, Continuing Education
Courses are offered periodically for Pilates and Yoga Instructors as well as Personal Trainers. Continuing education credits are available for the Pilates Method Alliance, Yoga Alliance, ACE and AFAA. Certification courses and workshops in yoga include a 30-hour training
in Penatal/Postpartum Yoga as well as Yoga for Osteoporosis. Please see below for current workshops at the studio.
WORKSHOPS
We periodically offer Masterclasses and Continuing Education
workshops in Pilates and Yoga for Instructors as well as 2-hour
workshops for clients at the studio.
All Pilates workshops are taught by certified teachers with over 10 years of experience teaching Pilates
and all Pilates Master Instructors are members of the Pilates Method
Alliance. Our own Director, Adriene Ingalls, in addition to teaching
Pilates for over 13 years and yoga for 16 plus years, is also a
Gold-Certified Instructor of the Pilates Method Alliance, a designation
awarded to only a handful of Pilates Instructors. All Workshop Instructors
have also taught Teachers for many years and have extensive experience
in other areas such as yoga, yoga therapy, post-rehabilitation and resistance training.
All Yoga workshops are taught by Certified Yoga Instructors, Physical Therapists
and/or Yoga Therapists who are RYT 500 with at least 10 years of
experience teaching Teachers.
